How to stop Albert from taking money?
Last Updated: Apr 03, 2025
If Albert is still taking money from your account, it's likely that your account is still active. To stop them from doing so, you need to cancel your Albert account. You can cancel directly in the app by going to the Help Center, selecting "Deactivate and Cancel," and following the prompts. Make sure your account balance is zero before deactivating. Alternatively, you can email their support team at support@albert.com with a request to close your account, providing your full name, account number, and contact information. Remember to ask for a confirmation of your account cancellation.
There are two ways to cancel your Albert Cash Advance account:
- Via the app: Open the Albert app, go to the Help Center, and select 'Deactivate and Cancel'. You'll need to enter your Social Security Number and the last four digits of your Albert card when prompted. Make sure your account balance is zero before deactivating.
- Via email: Send an email to support@albert.com with the subject line 'Request for Account Cancellation'. Include your full name, Albert account number, date of birth, billing address, registered email, and phone number. Ask for written confirmation after they cancel.
