There are two ways to cancel your Empower account:

1. Via the app: go to 'More' at the bottom right corner, tap 'Billing', then tap 'Cancel subscription' and follow the steps to close your account.
2. By email: send an email to help@empower.com requesting to cancel your account.

If you have any issues, you can also use the AI assistant in the app by typing "cancel account" to start the cancellation process. Remember to wait for confirmation that your account has been closed.

• Continuing charges after deletion: Some users report that after deleting their accounts, Empower continued to charge subscription fees and didn't provide promised refunds.
• Difficulty canceling subscription: Others mention struggles with canceling their subscriptions, especially if they couldn't log in due to outdated contact information.
• Unauthorized withdrawals: A few users claim that Empower took money from their accounts even though they never borrowed any money or had already canceled their accounts.
