How to stop MoneyLion from taking money?
Last Updated: Apr 03, 2025
If MoneyLion is still taking money from your account, it means you still have an active account with them or have outstanding balances. To stop them from taking money, you need to close your account. You can do this through the app, on their website, or by emailing support@moneylion.com and asking them to delete your account. Remember to pay off any outstanding loans or dues before you cancel.
There are two ways to cancel your MoneyLion account:
- Via the app: open the MoneyLion app, tap on the profile icon at the bottom right corner, go to Settings, then Account Management, and select 'Delete account'. Enter your email address and confirm to complete the process.
- By email: send an email to support@moneylion.com with the subject line 'Request to delete my account'. Include your request to delete your account and any associated information. Ask for a confirmation message after they cancel.
Make sure to settle any outstanding loans or dues before initiating the cancellation process.
